Yes. Aither is a sole proprietorship registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK 99470160) and based in Rotterdam. Officially registered January 2026 by Max Geurtsen. Prices are publicly listed. A 90-day money-back guarantee applies to the Pilot Build.

How does the free Quickscan work? Is it accurate?

You paste a website URL. The Quickscan fetches the public homepage HTML (max 200 KB), extracts ~6,000 words of readable text, and asks Claude Sonnet 4.6 to identify automation opportunities. Every returned idea must cite a verbatim sentence from the site — ideas without a citation are dropped. Each idea has a confidence rating (high/medium/low). If there is no good fit, the scan honestly returns 'no fit' rather than manufacturing ideas. Max personally reviews every scan within 24 hours.

Could the Quickscan be a scam? Why should I trust it?

Three trust mechanisms: (1) Each idea must cite a verbatim sentence from your public website; if it can't, the idea is removed. (2) Each idea is rated for confidence so 'low' guesses are visible. (3) ~1 in 8 sites get a 'no good fit' response — the system is explicitly designed not to always sell. The honest timeline

2022

First contact — GPT-3, just trying things out

No plan, no business idea. Just curiosity. I asked it questions, broke things, watched what worked and what didn't.

2023-24

age 19-20

It got fun — building things, API keys, real tools

The models got noticeably better and the ecosystem opened up. I started building actual things instead of just chatting — small automations, scripts that called APIs, experiments with multi-step flows. This is where I stopped being a tourist.

2024

The Aither vision crystallised

I kept seeing the same gap: AI was clearly powerful, but Dutch SMEs had no usable on-ramp. Consultancies sold €15k decks. Owners stayed stuck. The idea for Aither — fixed-price, ship in 14 days, no agency theatre — landed in 2024. I didn't register it yet. I just kept thinking about it.

Why a 22-year-old should run your AI

Fair question. Here's the honest case: I picked up AI as it became actually useful (2022 onwards) and I built my own work habits around it from there. I'm not pretending I had a 10-year head start — I had a 4-year head start, and I spent it experimenting, breaking things, and finding what genuinely works for small businesses.

The other half: I'm honest about what I don't know yet. Aither is my first real venture. I'll never quote you €15K for a slide deck because I haven't built the cynicism that big agencies have. What you get is a fixed price, a working system in 14 days, and a 90-day money-back if it doesn't pay back. If that sounds risky, compare it to what the alternative actually delivers.

This notice explains how Aither — a Dutch sole proprietorship operated by Max Geurtsen, Rotterdam — handles your personal data under the EU GDPR / AVG, Dutch UAVG, and the Telecommunicatiewet for cookies.

1. Data controller

2. What we collect, why, and the legal basis

(a) Account & identity: name, email, Argon2id password hash (Supabase Auth), locale, optional phone. Purpose: account & authentication. Basis: Art. 6(1)(b) — performance of contract.

(b) Course progress & interactions: course progress, quiz answers, bookmarks, notes, exam scores, AI-tutor questions. Basis: 6(1)(b) for delivery, 6(1)(f) for product improvement (aggregated).

(c) Payment data: Stripe processes payments — we only receive metadata, never card numbers. Basis: 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(c) — Dutch tax law requires 7 yrs.

(d) Contact & sales submissions: contact + lead-form data goes to Pipedrive (CRM). Basis: 6(1)(b) for pre-contract or 6(1)(f) for support.

(e) Newsletter: email only. Basis: 6(1)(a) — explicit consent. Unsubscribe in every email.

(f) Server logs & security: IP, user-agent, request path, status (~30 days). Basis: 6(1)(f) — security.

(g) Cookies & local storage: see Section 7.

3. Who we share data with (sub-processors)

We sign a DPA with every processor before data flows.

Supabase Inc. (database + auth, Dublin / Ireland) — DB + auth + storage. Hosted in Dublin (eu-west-1). DPA signed.
Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. (Dublin / Ireland) — Payments. PCI-DSS L1. We see metadata only.
Resend Inc. (Frankfurt EU region) — Transactional email. EU region. SCCs + DPA.
Anthropic PBC (US, with EU API endpoints available) — Claude Sonnet for chatbot/workflows. No model training on API data (default + feedback off). 30-day retention for abuse review only. DPA + SCCs + EU-US DPF.
Cloudflare, Inc. (global edge, EU region preferred) — DNS + CDN + DDoS. IP anonymised after 24h. SCCs.

Sub-processor list maintained. 30 days' notice on material changes.

No selling, renting or trading. No advertising or profiling.

4. International transfers

EU SCCs (Decision 2021/914) + encryption. EU-US Data Privacy Framework where applicable.

5. Retention periods

Account/course data: while active + 12 months. Earlier deletion on request.
Invoices: 7 years (Dutch tax law).
Leads & contact: 24 months.
Server logs: 30 days.
Newsletter: until unsubscribe + 14 days.
Backups: 35-day rolling cycle.

6. Your rights

Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, withdrawing consent, no solely-automated decisions, and the right to complain to the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

7. Cookies & local storage

No advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Strictly necessary (no consent required): session token, locale, theme, consent record.
Functional (consent): course progress, notes, bookmarks. Local only.
Analytics (consent, Plausible): cookie-less aggregate pageviews.

Manage anytime via the consent banner footer link.

8. Security

Argon2id password hashing (Supabase Auth), TLS 1.3, AES-256 at rest in Dublin (eu-west-1), 2FA, breach notification within 72h (Art. 33-34 GDPR).

9. Children

No data from under-16s. Accounts removed on parent/guardian request.

10. Changes to this notice

Material changes published + emailed 30 days in advance.

These Terms apply to every offer, agreement and delivery between Aither and you. Dutch text is leading.

1. Definitions

Aither — Dutch sole proprietorship of Max Geurtsen, Rotterdam, NL. KvK and VAT on invoices.
Customer / you — the natural person (Consumer) or legal entity (Business) contracting Aither.
Services — subscriptions, website projects, integrations, training, courses.
Consumer — a natural person not acting in a professional or commercial capacity (Art. 6:230g BW).

2. Offers, agreements, and confirmation

Quotes valid 30 days. Agreement starts on Aither's confirmation or first execution.

3. Payment, prices, and VAT

EUR. NL consumer = incl. 21% VAT; NL business = excl. VAT; EU reverse-charge with VAT-ID. Subscriptions monthly via Stripe; projects 50/50 net-14.

Late: statutory commercial interest (Art. 6:119a BW) + 15% collection costs (min €40). Consumer staffel under Art. 6:96 BW.

4. Cancellation, withdrawal & refunds

Subscriptions: cancel anytime; ends at period close. Setup fees non-refundable once started.

14-day consumer withdrawal on courses (Art. 6:230o BW), waived if you start the lessons after explicit consent at checkout.

14-day refund on paid courses if <50% complete; store credit after.

Project cancellation: hours + 20% completion on remaining scope, capped at contract sum.

5. Service-level & availability

99.5% target uptime. Below 99.0% in a month → 10% credit on request.

6. Intellectual property & licensing

Aither retains IP. After full payment you get a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for internal use. No resale, sublicensing, or AI-model training without written consent.

7. Acceptable use

No illegal content, impersonation, system abuse, IP infringement, or EU-AI-Act-prohibited practices. Suspension on serious/repeat breach.

8. Privacy & data processing

Privacy per Privacy Policy + DPA on request when Aither acts as processor.

9. Confidentiality

Mutual confidentiality, 3 years post-agreement.

10. AI-specific terms

AI is probabilistic. Review before use. No prohibited practices (AI Act Art. 5). No warranty on specific AI outputs.

11. Liability

Liability capped at 12 months of fees. No indirect/consequential damages. Carve-outs for wilful misconduct, injury/death, fraud, mandatory consumer rights.

12. Force majeure

Force majeure under Art. 6:75 BW. Notify and mitigate.

13. Term & termination

Subscriptions month-to-month, 30-day notice. Immediate termination for material breach, insolvency, or repeat AUP violation.

14. Changes to these terms

30-day notice for material changes. Continued use = acceptance.

15. Governing law & jurisdiction

Dutch law (excl. CISG). Rotterdam courts. Consumer mandatory rights preserved. EU ODR platform available.

16. Severability

Severability — invalid clause replaced by closest valid equivalent.

Your AVG / GDPR rights

If you have an Aither account, you can self-serve the two most-requested AVG rights — data portability (Art. 20) and erasure (Art. 17) — without filing a request.

Both actions require a logged-in account. Delete requires double-confirmation.

1. Purpose

Aither treats AVG Art. 33-34 obligations seriously and publishes the procedure here.

2. What counts as a data breach

A breach: any incident that compromises personal data we hold. Examples below.

Leaked Supabase service-role key.
Email with customer data to the wrong recipient.
Lost/stolen device with cached credentials before wipe.
Ransomware on a freelancer's device with active project access.
RLS misconfiguration cross-leaking customer rows.
Successful prompt-injection exfiltrating chatbot data.

3. Detection

Detection: Sentry/Cloudflare alerts · Supabase audit logs · sub-processor notices · external reports.

4. The first 60 minutes

Capture timestamps + screenshots. Open an incident note.
Rotate any potentially compromised secret.
Identify affected accounts / scope. Block at source if needed.
Preserve logs + forensics. Snapshot DB before cleanup.
Open a support case with the involved sub-processor.

5. Severity classification

Critical — large volume of sensitive data, high risk to data subjects.
High — sensitive data of a few customers, quickly contained.
Medium — limited personal data exposed, low risk.
Low — minimal data, no measurable consequences.

I didn't receive my verification email +

On the verify step click "Still nothing? Show code here" — the code appears on screen. Type it into the box and hit Activate.

Spam check: look in Spam, Promotions (Gmail), and Other / Focused (Outlook). Sender is max@aithergrowth.com.

How do I see my course progress? +

Open your dashboard — the Learning section shows each course with lessons completed out of total. Click Resume on any course to jump back to where you left off.

I signed up as Individual but want to register a business now +

Open your dashboard — a green banner reads 'Individual account' with an Upgrade to business button. Click it, fill in the details, and you become the admin.

Data, privacy, and GDPR +

Your data is stored in the EU. Zero-retention API setups with Anthropic and OpenAI — model providers don't train on your data.
